New Security Measures, Temporary Bridge Closure at Administration Building
We want to alert you to changes that will affect how you enter the County Administration Building at 301 W. Jefferson Street.
Starting today, staff entering through the main (north), ground-level entrance will go through newly-installed turnstiles. Employees should swipe their badge at the top of the turnstile and then wait for the doors to open. The goal is to limit tailgating and ensure all employees are swiping their badge before entering the building.
On Monday, November 11, the west, ground-level entrance will re-open to employees with the same turnstile setup as the main entrance.
That same day, Facilities Management and Layton Construction will temporarily shut down the 2nd floor breezeway entrance that connects to the 401 W. Jefferson parking garage. The closure of the highly-used bridge entrance is expected to last one week—from Monday, November 11 through Monday, November 18—as new doors are installed.

Employees who park in the garage are advised to use the west, ground-level entrance instead.
