The DEI Workgroup (the DreamWeavers), in collaboration with the Wellness & Safety Workgroup, will offer a Mental Health Podcast! The podcast event will be a casual space to hear great information.
The Podcast will include topics such as:
- How culture plays into mental health
- What is happening in our brains and bodies when we are stressed or overwhelmed
- Techniques to use when feeling stressed or overwhelmed
- The difference between a psychiatrist, psychologist, counselor and who you go to for what
- Resources people can turn to as they work through the process of finding a care provider
Look out for a virtual TEAMS invite for Friday 11/4/22 at 10 AM. Attendance is optional.
