Don't be Clark Griswold this Holiday Season
Falling from a ladder while hanging decorations and stepping on broken ornaments may be funny in holiday movies but in real life, these mishaps can result in visits to the emergency room or calls to fire departments.
Remember these tips during your holiday decorating and any other time you use a ladder.
- Inspect the ladder and set it up on a level flat surface with nothing else around - like a door that can open into it
- Stay on the second rung from the top - never the top rung
- Don’t lean outside of the frame
- Always maintain three points of contact
- Face the ladder while climbing up or down

Thanks Margaret, and everyone who submitted a caption!
Now for this issue's photo...
You've got to be the Grinch if your heart doesn't melt when you look at this sweet pup, Melania, dressed up for the holidays. What does she want to say to Sergeant Christina Barden from the Sheriff's Office who submitted her pic?
Send your caption our way using the link above, or email us your favorite pet pic and we may use it in a future issue of Currents.
