Get a Flu Shot
Imagine the peace of mind of knowing you’re less likely to get really sick this fall and winter. Flu vaccine has been shown to reduce the risk of having to go to the doctor with flu by 40-60%. Getting a flu shot now means you’ll be protected for the entire season and, with your lower risk of having to visit a doctor or a hospital, you’ll be doing your part to help our health care system during a critical time. To make it easy, the County is offering free flu shots to county employees at various worksite locations.

CAPTION CONTEST
|
Congratulations, Tonia Tunnell!
Tonia Tunnell with the Recorder's Office and Elections Department had our winning caption this time around: "Who you calling a Pig in a blanket? I'm a swine in a spread!" Clever. Thanks to Tonia and to everyone who participated in the contest!
Now for this issue's photo...
Last issue we had a pig curled up on a couch. Now, we've got a dog in a bed. Sensing a theme? Samantha Mears with the Library District submitted this photo of her dog, Patch, looking pretty comfortable under the covers. Have a caption for it? Send it our way using the link above. You can also email us your favorite pet pic and we may use it in a future issue of Currents!
