Supervisor Galvin Calls Out Fellow Republicans, Praises a Flawless Midterm Election
The results of the 2026 Midterm Election were swift and decisive, not only in Maricopa County, but across the courtry. I pray that this finally sends a message to my party, the Republican Party: Wake up! Since joining the Board of Supervisors in 2021, I have seen people in my party turn their backs on true conservative principles to feed into conspiracies and lies, and frankly, it has disgusted me.
We need to put an end to the madness and allow the true pillars of our party to shine. I believe Maricopa County is that beacon. We have lowered property tax rates, increased funding for public safety, and are taxing residents at nearly $280 million below our maximum tax levy, all while maintaining a AAA bond rating.
 I want to commend my fellow Maricopa County Board Members, our County Manager, and, of course, our fantastic Elections team for conducting a perfect election both in the General Election and this summer's Primary. While it was not easy, our dedication never waivered. Thank you all for your tireless work on behalf of our voters.
