Board of Supervisors and Recorder Heap reach Settlement Agreement
 I’m pleased that the Board has reached a settlement with Recorder Heap to end the litigation once and for all.
The Chair and I, and the Recorder’s office spent many hours negotiating over a 3-day period and we were able to finalize the settlement agreement late in the night, on Monday, July 13.
Now, it’s time to work together for the benefit of all Maricopa County voters.
This settlement agreement is a win for the Recorder, a win for the Board…and most importantly, it’s a win for Maricopa County voters!
