Statement on Possible Settlement in Heap v. Galvin, et al.
"While we appreciate Recorder Heap’s enthusiasm, his press release this morning was premature. Contrary to the Recorder’s assertion, the Board of Supervisors has not received a settlement proposal from the Recorder or his attorney. But, we look forward to seeing his proposed terms and are hopeful we will be able to reach an agreement that aligns with state law and puts voters first."
