Update on Fact-Finding Hearing
“With an election underway now, we need complete and accurate information about serious claims made by Recorder’s Office staff, including allegations of voter disenfranchisement.
However, since we have not heard back from the judge regarding our latest filing in this case (linked here), our fact-finding meeting today is cancelled. We will have the opportunity to discuss next steps in court on Wednesday.
In the meantime, the Board remains focused on successfully administering the Tempe jurisdictional election and on gathering all facts necessary to oversee elections and conduct county operations on behalf of our 4.5 million residents.”
