The Maricopa County Department of Public Health offers many vaccines to residents and their children. If you need immunizations, please go to the website below and give the clinics a call. They are located across the valley.

Maricopa County offers services to help families in need. If you have SNAP, TANF, or AHCCCS you automatically qualify, but there are other ways to get WIC as well. Please click the link below for more details.

FEATURED EVENTS

District 5 Domestic Violence Luncheon

October was Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and my office held a luncheon for all County employees to come together for the cause. Some organizations offering DV resources also came out including The Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence, The Southwest Indigenous Women's Coalition and Maricopa County Human Resources. I appreciate their time for coming to our event and the essential services they offer. This event also had many guest speakers including Phoenix City Councilwoman Laura Pastor, Judge Enrique Medina, and a domestic violence survivor who shared her incredible story with the group. Events like this give people the avenue to seek help when they really need it. The office of District 5 will continue bringing these events to County employees in an effort to minimize the effects of domestic violence.

Affordable Housing Ribbon Cutting

In conjunction with Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC), Phoenix City Councilwomen Ana Hernandez and Kesha Hodge-Washinton, I attended a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new affordable housing facility in South Phoenix. The Ascent on Broadway was made possible by unwavering collaboration of local government and nonprofits aimed at combating the housing crisis head on. This facility has the capacity to hold over 150 families and give them the stability they need to thrive and grow.

Restoration of Rights Event in Tolleson

My office recently hosted a Restoration of Rights event in Tolleson. This event was made possible in collaboration with the Maricopa County Public Defender's Office. The public defender's office staff and attorneys were able to give informative presentations on how the process works to restore a resident's rights and the attorneys on site helped residents fill out the necessary court paperwork to start the process. I hope to have more events like this in the future so be on the lookout!

Using the Maricopa County Elections departments website, you can find a Voter Dashboard that enables residents of Maricopa County to view their voter information. You can view anything from your registration status to your ballot status and this useful tool can help mitigate any missteps to ensure a smooth election process. Need Parcel Information?

The Maricopa County Assessor's Office is responsible for identifying, valuing, and classifying all taxable real and personal property in the county, which includes over 1.8 million parcels with a combined full cash value exceeding $1 trillion. Their mission is to provide fair and equitable property valuations to support the collection of property taxes that fund essential community resources. To access detailed parcel information, the Assessor's Parcel Viewer is available online. This tool allows users to search by parcel number, owner name, address, subdivision, or other criteria.
