Mesa: Gilbert Rd. Bridge Opening Ceremony
I was proud to celebrate the grand opening of the new Gilbert Road Bridge, which connects Mesa with the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community and north Scottsdale. Replacing the flood-damaged bridge in just two years showcases the great work of our Maricopa County Department of Transportation team. Thanks to Mayor Mark Freeman, Councilman Rich Adams, and SRPMIC councilmembers for joining. This bridge will serve as a vital connection for decades to come!
Mesa: i.d.e.a. Museum Ribbon Cutting
As part of I Love Mesa Day, I had the opportunity to speak at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Idea Lab at the i.d.e.a. Museum. This exciting space blends art and technology, inspiring creativity and learning for all ages. I encourage all our residents to explore everything the museum has to offer!
Fountain Hills Rotary Club
Thank you, Fountain Hills Rotary Club, for having me as a guest speaker. I spoke about my desire for urgently needed election reforms, and Maricopa County’s great fiscal record including cutting property tax rates four years in a row. As always, this group asked many great questions!
Scottsdale: Arizona Alliance for Golf
Thank you, Arizona Alliance for Golf, for having me as a guest and addressing board members. This alliance is a coalition dedicated to unifying, protecting, and educating Arizonans about the sport of golf. Golf plays a significant role in our Valley’s economic development, especially in my district. I want to commend the Alliance for their innovative use of modern technology to conserve water. The future of golf in the Valley is bright!
Scottsdale: Family Promise Tour
During a recent tour of Family Promise in Scottsdale, I had the opportunity to see firsthand the incredible work they’re doing to support families experiencing homelessness. Their commitment to providing shelter, resources, and long-term solutions is truly inspiring. It’s a powerful reminder of how important it is to invest in programs that keep families together and help them regain stability.
