A New Partnership to Get Lost Pets Home
Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) and Arizona Humane Society are partnering with non-profit Petco Love on an effort to reunite lost pets with their families. Both agencies will start using Petco Love Lost, a free, searchable national database that use photo-matching technology to make finding lost pets quicker and easier. Uploaded photos of a missing dog or cat can be immediately scanned to determine whether the lost pet is at a county shelter.
Starting today, MCACC’s Stray Map Tool will be deactivated. All lost and found pet reporting will go through Petco Love Lost. If you have recently filed a lost or found report using the map tool, we encourage you to file another report through Petco Love Lost.

Happy Tails
"We fell in love instantly with Bubba! He was so affectionate at the shelter and seemed so ready to be loved. We learned he had Valley Fever the day we picked him up for adoption. Happy to report he has been on the right medication for 3 months and the disease has nearly cleared his body! He has brought joy and comfort to our home every day and it just keeps getting better."
