Recounts: What Are They and When Do They Happen?
In Arizona, recounts are automatically triggered when the margin between two candidates or a contest is separated by 0.5 percent or less. If a recount is triggered during the 2024 Primary and General Elections, it will be performed under observation by the county’s political observers. Arizona law prohibits the publication of results during a recount.
The results are sealed and provided to a judge, who will affirm the winner of the recounted contest.

Happy Tails
“I picked out Ruger (formerly Cody) after watching his online profile for over a week. It was very clear that he was a wonderful dog, but was very overlooked with adopters. I woke up one morning and told my husband I was going down there to get him. Ruger needed time and patience. Within a week, we could touch him. Within a month, he’d come to us when called. Fast forward to today, and he’s the most amazing, loyal and loving companion we could have asked for. He’s not a fan of strangers, and that’s okay. No dog is perfect. With time, patience and a lot of treats, he’s turned into the best boy. He even loves our cats!” - Krista
