Premium Poll Worker Training
Each election, Maricopa County Elections trains thousands of poll workers. Each Vote Center has an Inspector who is the "Team Lead" and they are encouraged to take the Premium Poll Worker Training. The intensive 2-day hands-on training allows them to troubleshoot possible issues that could arise and learn techniques to de-escalate situations at Vote Centers. These mock scenarios prepare poll workers to handle real-world issues on Election Day. The Premium Poll Working Training has been so successful it won a 2024 National Association of Counties Award.

Happy Tails
I adopted Izzie in October 2023. My pittie had just passed away, and I was on the lookout when a shelter volunteer, Julia, contacted me about this wonderful girl. She had a terrible ear infection and was a bit nervous, but having adopted 5 pitties prior, I knew these issues would only be temporary. I actually live in Beverly Hills, so I met Julia halfway in Palm Springs to pick up my gorgeous girl. Izzie is loving her California life and enjoys walks in the neighborhood, riding top down in my convertible and is the MOST snuggliest dog ever. She sleeps fully submerged in the blankets! She has been such a joy in my life.
