Voters in Tempe and Litchfield Park have jurisdictional elections tomorrow.  These elections are "ballot by mail" so all qualified voters were automatically sent a ballot.  If you're eligible to voter in one of these elections, but haven't mailed your ballot back already, then drop off your completed ballot at a ballot drop box or in-person voting site by tomorrow (March 12th).

The portal now offers:

• the application for Head Start, an early education program for children ages birth to 5 years old;
• the availability to apply for assistance in Spanish and English
• a simplified application process.

The portal’s application process can quickly determine eligibility for supported programs, which is done in three steps:

1. Visit the Client Portal at Maricopa.gov/HSDPortal. 
2. Click on the “application prescreen” to begin the application process which will determine if basic eligibility requirements are met for all available assistance.
3. Those that meet the basic eligibility criteria will then be invited to create an account and to complete an online application.

Our Human Services Senior and Adult Services Division provides quality case management services to individuals aged 60 and older and adults aged 18 – 59 with physical disabilities.
