Care on the Go is back on January 13th to provide free vaccinations and microchips to valley pets |

PHOENIX, AZ – Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC) is excited to bring back the Care on the Go community event offering free services to help keep pets in their homes and give them the best shot for a healthy life.
In March 2022, MCACC held their first ever Care on the Go event, which resulted in nearly 1,000 pets receiving free services such as vaccines, microchips, and licensing.
“It was clear by the turnout we had last year that there is a need for this in our community,” said Kim Powell, Communications Supervisor. “We’re excited to offer this free event not only in January, but two more times in early 2024 as well.”
On January 13th from 9am-12pm, MCACC will be offering Rabies and licensing to dog owners at no cost. Petco Love is also sponsoring DA2PP vaccines, and microchips will be available for dogs who need one thanks to #LovePup Foundation.
This drive-thru style event is for dogs only. Please register online before January 11th. Limit two dogs per household.
