Wet Friday Ahead...
We’ve got lots to talk about today with a potent weather system set to affect the region to finish out the work week. In the near term, plan on mostly sunny skies today and a final afternoon of above average temperatures reaching the mid 70s. Moving ahead, the aforementioned disturbance will move inland from SoCal and across AZ on Friday into Saturday bringing multiple waves of showers/t-storms, noteworthy valley rain/high terrain snow, and the potential for localized flooding issues around the County (more details on timing/amounts below). The system will quickly exit the region to the east late Saturday with quiet weather and colder temperatures in store for the remainder of the Holiday weekend and into the start of next week:
Prime time for heaviest rain will occur Friday afternoon through early AM Saturday. Greatest opportunity for travel impacts and flooding issues around the County will also occur during this period.
