PETS AND PLACES
Pet of the Week
![pet of the week](https://content.govdelivery.com/attachments/fancy_images/AZMARIC/2022/12/6825343/4462702/screen-shot-2022-12-05-at-4-29-07-pm_crop.png) Meet Bernie
Bernie is a “dreamboat” according to volunteers and staff! Age is just a number to 12-year-old Bernie, who loves to go outside and play and go for long walks—until he tires himself out! He is housetrained and seems to be okay with other dogs as long as he is introduced to them slowly. He gets excited around kids and does great with adults too! We think he would be a great fit for a family!
Happy Tails
Spud was adopted in November of 2020. His owner Wendy wrote, “He is truly the best dog in the entire world. He is such a wonderful advocate for the pit bull breed. He is seriously the most affectionate and loving dog. Definitely a stage 5 clinger. He absolutely loves all dog friends and loves going on adventures. He truly is my best friend & I am so glad I went to the shelter that day. We went right before the shelter closed & we literally only had like 5 minutes to make the decision to get him. It was an extremely quick decision but I am so glad I did. We love Spud so much!”
