Flu Season is Coming Up!
With flu season is approaching, now is a great time for you and your kids to get your flu shot. If you are eligible to get an updated COVID-19 booster dose, you can also get your flu shot the same day!

MCSO Hosts Stop the Bleed Course.
MCSO’s Training Division held a Stop the Bleed Course. This course is AZ post certified and was instructed by Honor Health staff. The attendees include MCSO detention officers, Deputies, Civilians, MCSO family members, and West-Mec High School students. The students learned to pack various wounds, and how to effectively stop bleeding through different types of tourniquets.

Financial Assistance to Recover From the Pandemic is Still Available.
Are you still recovering financially from the pandemic? There is help still available. We still have American Rescue Plan Funds available to help with things like rent, utility and food assistance. In addition, we are offering small business support, services for seniors and workforce development programs.

Make Sure to Tip and Toss Standing Water.
When it rains, it is important to tip and toss even the smallest amounts of water from your home and yard. Plant pots, bird baths, kiddie pools, buckets and fountains are some places mosquitoes can breed.
