NEWS BITES
Back to School Vaccinations
Hard to believe, but it's almost "Back to School" time. In addition to school supplies, you'll want to make sure your child is up-to-date on vaccinations needed for school. Public Health has three free child vaccine clinics.
Find the near vaccine location near you at Maricopa.gov/immunizations.
Fight the Bite!
Did you know that mosquitoes only need small amounts of standing water to increase their populations? Help prevent mosquito bites and the serious diseases they can carry (such as West Nile Virus) by tipping and tossing water around your home and yard.
Check out this Backyard Checklist from Maricopa County Environmental Services. www.FightTheBiteMaricopa.org.
Be Safe Around Water
Taking a dip in the pool or heading out to the lake is often a huge relief during the summer. But please be safe, especially with children around.

PETS AND PLACES
Pet of the Week
![Puppy Love Isadora](https://content.govdelivery.com/attachments/fancy_images/AZMARIC/2022/07/6182901/puppy-love-isadora_original.gif) Meet Isadora!
Isadora is an absolute sweetheart who has been so friendly with everyone she meets! There's nothing this pup enjoys more than spending time with you (especially if you'll give her plenty of petting and nice back scratches!). She appears to have already had some previous training, takes treats very gently, and walks nicely on a leash. This wiggly girl may even be good with kids or other dogs at home if you're careful to introduce them gradually so everyone has time to adjust. Isadora is already spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to go home with you today! All adoptions are free of charge through July 31!
