Fight the Bite
 Summer is here and so is mosquito season. Mosquito bites are more than an irritation – they can cause serious illnesses that sometimes turn fatal. West Nile virus is a disease caused by a virus that is spread through mosquito bites. While many people may not have symptoms, others can become very ill and even die from the virus. In 2021, a new Maricopa County record was set for cases in a single year with nearly 1,500 cases identified.  Time is running out to complete your Wellness Incentive activities for this plan year! Employees who complete healthy activities through the Wellness Portal earn $30 per paycheck as part of the County’s Wellness Incentive Program. Just complete the online Health Check Survey and two "Your Choice" activities in the Wellness Portal
by June 30, 2022.
