Responding to 2020 Election Claims
The Arizona Senate’s review of the County’s 2020 general election is complete. While it confirmed the winners canvassed by the County did, in fact, win, the report was also filled with errors and faulty assumptions. The Elections Department responded late last week with a high-level analysis of the Senate's report.
In the meantime, Chairman Jack Sellers and Vice Chairman Bill Gates testified before the House Oversight Committee in Washington D.C. last week to share the steps Maricopa County has taken to ensure elections are fair, free, and accurate.
Voters can find election facts and myths the county has already debunked at JustTheFacts.Vote.

PETS AND PLACES
Pet of the Week
 Bart
Say hello to our beautiful friend, Bart!
This one-year-old Catahoula mix pup has trouble standing out inside the kennels, but when he's out in the play yards, he shines! According to myth, animals with heterochromia (split-colored eyes like Bart's) have the ability to see both heaven and earth - so we like to think he can already see his forever family.
We don't know much about Bart's history. All we know is that one day he was out wandering and approached a kind stranger's home. He stayed with them for a day, and they remarked how friendly he was with them and that he seemed to be house-trained already.
