One-Shot Vaccination Events
Looking for a one-and-done vaccination appointment? Maricopa County Public Health has provided Johnson and Johnson vaccine to support the following upcoming event:
Adults 18+: Former Safeway pharmacy. 11275 East Via Linda, Scottsdale, Arizona 85259. Monday, 4/19/21 to Friday, 4/23/21. Note: Registration website indicates this event is for essential workers; however, anyone 18 and older is eligible to make an appointment.

Other Vaccination Opportunities
You can find a complete list of ongoing vaccination sites in Maricopa County, including pharmacies and some doctor’s offices, at Maricopa.gov/COVID19VaccineLocations. Don’t forget to check podvaccine.azdhs.gov every day at 8 am for additional appointments due to cancellations and every Friday at 11 am for a new batch of appointments at state-run PODs.

Promotores
Maricopa County Public Health has partnered with 2-1-1 to bring Spanish-speaking Promotores (community health workers) on board to assist residents with information on the COVID-19 vaccine and to help book appointments. In a little over a week, Promotores have received more than 1,000 calls, mainly from people needing help booking appointments. This effort got widespread attention last night with a two-hour live phone bank on Univision.
If you need vaccine assistance in Spanish, you can dial 2-1-1, Monday through Friday, from 8-5 pm.
Promotores De Salud Contestan Sus Preguntas
Salud Pública del Condado Maricopa se ha asociado con 2-1-1 para que Promotores de Salud estén disponibles para contestar llamadas en español y dar información o hacer citas para la vacuna COVID-19. En mas de una semana, Promotores han recibido más de1,000 llamadas, principalmente de personas que necesitan hacer cita para la vacuna. Este esfuerzo generó atención anoche con el banco de llamadas transmitido por Univisión.
