Media Advisory: View Logic and Accuracy Tests Online on October 6

October 6, 2020 (Phoenix) – The public is invited to view the logic and accuracy tests for the November 3 General Election online. The Maricopa County Elections Department is extending this option to the public in light of COVID-19.

Logic and accuracy tests are open to the public and performed before and after every election to certify the accuracy of our tabulation equipment and accessible voting devices.

When: Tuesday, October 6 at 1:30 p.m.
Where: The public is welcome to attend. Email electioninfo@risc.maricopa.gov for audio and visual access to the online test, or visit our website to view it live here.

Media information: Interviews, b-roll and photo opportunities are available. Masks and temperature checks are required. Please contact Megan Gilbertson or Diana Solorio if you plan to attend in person.

About the Election: Maricopa County is expanding voter options for the November General Election, while focusing on the health and safety of voters and poll workers. Voters can choose to vote by mail or vote in-person from October 7-November 3.

Early ballots mail on Oct. 7. Voters who requested a ballot by mail or are on the Permanent Early Voting List should expect to see a yellow envelope in their mailbox within a week. The last day to request a ballot in the mail is October 23 by 5 p.m. Voters can track their early ballot during the General Election by texting “JOIN” to 628–683 or by signing up for alerts at BeBallotReady.Vote.

In-person voting is available from October 7-November 3 in large locations that will allow for physical distancing and enhanced safety protocols. With a Vote Center model, voters have the options to choose the time and location that works for them, including some evenings and weekends. Find locations and hours at Locations.Maricopa.Vote.

The county is expecting historic voter turnout as more than 2.5 million registered voters are eligible to participate in the General Election.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3.
