Maricopa County August Primary Election Results Posted

August 4, 2020 (Phoenix) – Unofficial results are now posted for the August Primary Election.

Early tallies show 709,378 voters cast a ballot, which represents about 29.18 percent of total eligible voters. We will publish Election Day results as they are returned from each of the 99 Vote Centers throughout the night. An estimated 51,500 voters cast a ballot in-person today.

Maricopa County has seen historic Primary participation, exceeding 700,000 voters on August 1. Voters cast 699,636 ballots in the 2018 Primary and 555,844 ballots in the 2016 Primary.

Starting Wednesday, August 5, the Elections Department will update unofficial results daily after 5 p.m. as we process the early ballots dropped off on Election Day.

Voters can track their early ballot online at BallotStatus.Maricopa.Vote.
