Media Advisory: View Logic and Accuracy Tests Online on July 7

July 2, 2020 (Phoenix) – The public is invited to view the logic and accuracy tests for the August 4 Primary Election online. The Maricopa County Elections Department is extending this option to the public in light of COVID-19.

Logic and accuracy tests are open to the public and performed before and after every election to certify the accuracy of our tabulation equipment and accessible voting devices.

When: Tuesday, July 7 at 1:30 p.m.
Where: The public is welcome to attend. Email electioninfo@risc.maricopa.gov for audio and visual access to the online test, or visit our website to view it live here.

Maricopa County is expanding voting access for the August Primary Election, while focusing on the health and safety of voters and poll workers. Voters can request a ballot in the mail at BeBallotReady.Vote. We are also opening the polls from July 8-August 4 and all voting locations will be large enough to accommodate for physical distancing. Maricopa County has seen a rise in the number of voters requesting a ballot in the mail, with the percent of voters on the Permanent Early Voting List exceeding three quarters of all voters for the first time.

The Elections Department is mailing early ballots on July 8. All voters who’ve requested a ballot in the mail for the August Primary Election should expect to see a yellow envelope and ballot in their mailbox next week.

Election Day is Tuesday, August 4, 2020.

2 de julio de 2020 (Phoenix) – Se invita al público a ver las pruebas de lógica y precisión para la Elección Primaria del 4 de agosto en línea. El Departamento de Elecciones del Condado Maricopa está brindado esta opción al público debido a COVID-19.

Las pruebas de lógica y precisión están abiertas al público y se realizan antes y después de cada elección para certificar la precisión de nuestro equipo de tabulación y dispositivos de votación accesibles.
