Updated Resources for Restaurant Owners and Food Service Workers
Maricopa County will not require pre-inspections for restaurants resuming dine-in services, but will continue to conduct routine inspections to protect public health. The Arizona Department of Health Services has issued expanded guidance for restaurants resuming dine-in service. Meanwhile, the Maricopa County Environmental Services Department has compiled resources for food establishments to comply with both the Governor’s orders and the food code.

How to Wear and Care for Face Masks
If you choose to wear a face mask or cloth face covering in public, or are required to by a business or an employer, it’s important to understand how to wear and care for your mask to yield the most benefit from its use. For starters, make sure the mask is worn over the nose and mouth, not just the mouth. And remember, face coverings are most effective helping prevent transmission of COVID-19 when used with physical distancing and good hand washing.
