Maricopa County is making changes to business operations daily as the situation related to COVID-19 evolves. Essential government functions will continue as we move a large percentage of our employees to working from home. Please take note of the following:
- The Board of Supervisors regularly scheduled formal meeting will not be open to the public until further notice. The public can view the meeting at Maricopa.gov or on YouTube.
-
Maricopa County Parks remain open during this time and the governor has declared them an essential operation. We have 596 miles of trails so there is plenty of room to spread out, but the parking lots have been crowded. Please practice patience, social distancing and trail etiquette. Consider moving to another trailhead as needed to avoid congestion.
-
Animal Care and Control continues to try and limit the number of people moving through the shelters while saving the same number of animals. This week adoptions and fostering services are by appointment only. They also have a large adoption event starting today. Get more information Maricopa County Adapts Operations to COVID-19 Pandemic.

Following federal and state direction, much of the County workforce is working remotely at least part-time while the County maintains essential services. The health and safety of our workers is top of mind during these trying times.

Although BidSync offers different subscription services, the only thing required to get added as a County vendor is the FREE registration. Attached is a guide sheet to help you with the process, if necessary.
If you can't make it to one of our Regional Parks, visit our MC Parks Virtual Visit YouTube Page. You can view videos of a burro family taking a walk by Lake Pleasant, learn about water conservation, or take a virtual hike with wildflowers, just as some examples.
