Following the recommended guidelines from the CDC, ADHS and Maricopa County Department of Public Health, effective Thursday, March 19th the customer lobby serving Environmental Services Mobile Food/Special Events (1645 E. Roosevelt, Phoenix, 85006) is closed to walk-in customers.
Customers may schedule an appointment online by visiting ESD.Maricopa.gov and clicking on “Schedule Intake Appointment” or over the phone at 602-506-6824.
We appreciate your understanding and patience while we take the necessary precautions to keep our customers, staff and community safe.
Companies and individuals are always encouraged to submit applications online. The steps are outlined at the Maricopa County Permitting Services Website.

As a reminder, the Development Services Center, located at 501 N. 44th Street, Suite 200 in Phoenix, is also closed to walk-in customers.
Customers are welcome to schedule an appointment by:
- Going to Planning and Development website and clicking on “Schedule Intake Appointment.” They can also call 602-506-8573.
- Going to Environmental Services website and clicking on “Schedule Intake Appointment.” They can also call 602-506-6616.
- Calling the Air Quality Department at 602-372-3456.
Maricopa County permitting departments strive for the highest level of customer service while processing approximately 43,000 permits a year. We appreciate residents and businesses for adopting this temporary process to protect their health and that of County employees.
