MC Libraries Closed & Democratic Presidential Preference Election- March 16, 2020

 

Maricopa County Libraries Are CLOSED

Out of an abundance of caution, County leaders made the decision to close MCLD libraries until further notice effective Monday, March 16. The health and safety of all who enjoy our libraries remain our top priority. We will continue to provide updates in every effort to give you the latest information.

Digital resources and eMedia collection are always available and can be accessed 24/7 on your computer, tablet, or smartphone. Stream music and movies, download eBooks and audio books, or read a digital magazine all from the comfort of your home.

Democratic Presidential Preference Election, Tuesday, March 17

Please check Locations.Maricopa.Vote for all open locations and your voting location as it may have changed.  

Visit any one of the "vote anywhere" locations to drop off your ballot or cast your vote.  Polling locations will be practicing increased cleaning protocols to keep voters safe.

Additionally, you can visit Visit BeBallotReady.vote or Maricopa County Elections for additional information.

You can drop off your early ballot 24 hours a day, until 7:00PM on March 17th at MCTEC - 510 S 3rd Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85003.

 

 

 


COVID-19 Information

The Arizona Poison Control System is now available to take COVID-19 calls from Arizona providers and the general public: 1-844-542-8201

 

Governor Doug Ducey has recommended following the most recent CDC recommendations.  Avoid gatherings of more than 10 people, social situations, restaurants, and bars.

 

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO PREVENT COMMUNITY SPREAD?

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Cover your cough/sneeze with a tissue (or your elbow), then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe. (Including door knobs, toilet handles, and sink handles, etc.)
  • Wash your hands frequently.
  • Stay home from work if you are ill.
