New Affordable Housing in Tempe
  The newest affordable housing complex in Maricopa County is already transforming lives.
River at Eastline Village is a 56-unit affordable housing community at River Road and Apache Boulevard in Tempe located near light rail and bus routes.
Developments like these have a positive, long-term impact on the community in general and on homelessness in particular. Our cities and towns need affordable housing as we continue to grow. Watch the above video or click here to learn more.
 At the end of October, the County Supervisor Association of Arizona had its Annual Legislative Summit in the City of Maricopa. We were welcomed by the City of Maricopa Mayor Christian Price and had a lunch presentation on water policy by former Governor and Interior Secretary Bruce Babbitt.
Town of Gilbert Veterans Day Celebration
The Veterans Day Celebration in the Town of Gilbert was a very moving impressive event honoring our Veterans. Town of Gilbert Vice Mayor Eddie Cook introduced the keynote speaker Lt. General Jeffrey W. Talley.
East Valley Partnership
I attended the East Valley Partnership Board Meeting in October with local leaders. Supervisor Steve Chucri and Sheriff Paul Penzone joined me in representing Maricopa County.

 I was honored to speak on a panel at the Chandler Chamber of Commerce Autonomous Vehicle Symposium on November 14.
Chandler Chamber of Commerce - Firestone Complete Auto Care Ribbon Cutting
 I spoke at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Firestone Complete Auto Care Facility at Chandler Fashion Mall on October 25. As part of the ceremony, a check for $1,000 was presented to the Boys & Girls Club.
Gilbert Chamber of Commerce - Good Government Buzz Session
 On October 25, I enjoyed speaking at the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce Good Government Buzz Session along with Maricopa County Supervisor Steve Chucri and Jason Baran with Salt River Project.
Gilbert Chamber of Commerce - Vendor University
 I introduced our Maricopa County Procurement Services Department at the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce on October 1. The goal is to help East Valley companies better understand how to do business with Maricopa County.
Northrop Grumman Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
 I was honored to be part of the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Northrop Grumman Chandler Campus with Governor Doug Ducey on November 13. This incredible facility is the latest addition to our Price Road Corridor. Special thanks to David Allred for his leadership in making this project a reality.
