A Message From Chairman Gates

Dear Friends,

Spring is here and there are many things to be excited about in Maricopa County including the addition of our newest regional park.

On March 27th, on behalf of the Board of Supervisors, I signed a lease with the Bureau of Land Management for 1000 acres of land near Wickenburg to become the Vulture Mountain Recreation Area managed by the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department.  The agreement expands our park system to thirteen parks and enhances recreational opportunities for our residents.  Click on the photo below to learn more.

Our next County Coffee will be on Thursday, June 6th with special guest newly elected Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego.  Thank you to North Mountain Brewing for hosting.  I hope to see you all there.

All my best,

Bill
