A Message From
Chairman Bill Gates

Dear Friends,

I am honored to announce my election as Chairman of the Board of Supervisors for 2019. I am humbled by the opportunity to not only serve District 3 as your Supervisor, but to serve all of Maricopa County as your Chairman. I thank my colleagues on the Board for entrusting me with this job and I look forward to a productive 2019.

Earlier today, at the Passing of the Gavel Ceremony, I was able to share my vision for what we can be: a smart government that gives people more time for what matters. We are the nation’s fastest-growing county and there is no reason why we can't also be its most forward thinking. By using technology once unimaginable, leveraging big data once thought incomprehensible, and changing processes once thought immutable, we can position Maricopa County as a leader in citizen centered service in the coming decade.
