 On March 21,
2018 the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors (BOS) approved the elimination of
the requirement to obtain a permit for pet shops/groomers and mobile pet
shops/groomers. The regulatory change was effective on the 21st and
the current permits for these businesses will be closed out by the Maricopa
County Environmental Services Department. Since permits are not required,
inspections will not be conducted nor will any renewal notices be sent out to
these customers.

prevention for pet shops, groomers, petting zoos, etc.
Environmental Services Department will
continue to respond to nuisance complaints that are received.
