Southwest Regional Court Center opens today

 

The center replaces four existing, outdated courts. The updated technology includes electronic monitors in the lobby to direct customers to the right courtroom and Wi-Fi access. It’s located at 10420 West Van Buren Street in Avondale and houses the Agua Fria, Country Meadows, Maryvale, and White Tank Justice Courts. These precincts incorporate parts of Avondale, Buckeye, Glendale, Goodyear, Litchfield Park, Phoenix, and Tolleson.

Elected in 2016 to District 3, Bill Gates is serving his first term on the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, but he is no stranger to public service. Superior Court Law Library Resource Center

Check out the new Superior Court Law Library Resource Center! It’s located in the East Court Building on the southwest corner of First Avenue and Jefferson in downtown Phoenix and is open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.

Maricopa County StandDown 2017

Maricopa County and its partners proudly helped more than two thousand veterans at this year’s StandDown. The event was held on February 9 and 10 at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum. It helps homeless and at-risk veterans with medical and mental health services, housing assistance, and social security information to name a few. Maricopa County justices of the peace were also on hand to help veterans resolve outstanding court cases.
