PAST MEETINGS
The Continuum of Care Board recently approved new members in January and February, bringing on six additional members as well as a new Co-Chair. In February, the Board approved the System Flow synthesis, documenting the data from the fourth quarter of 2021. The Board completed three Strategic Planning sessions and has another scheduled for the end of March to finalize goals and plans for 2022.
The Continuum of Care Committee continues to have in depth conversations about the System Flow Dashboard, completing deep dives into different aspects of the data including Race Equity and what to do about the discrepancies. The Committee is reviewing the ESG and CoC Written Standards for recommendations to the ESG Subcommittee and will be reviewing the System Performance Measures.
The Coordinated Entry Subcommittee selected Homebase as the consultant for the Coordinated Entry evaluation. The Subcommittee continues to deep dive into data, investigating the length of time for people on the By Name List who are not prioritized, as well as integrating homeless prevention dollars into the Coordinated Entry process. Finally, the Coordinated Entry Subcommittee formed a workgroup focused on Domestic Violence and Coordinated Entry to discuss care coordination, data, prioritization, and integration of the two systems.
The Data Subcommittee reviewed and discussed the System Flow Dashboard, looking further into housing move-in dates and discussed how programs are recording length of time versus the By Name List tracking. In March, the Data Subcommittee will be reviewing the By Name List criteria, what programs add individuals onto the By Name List, and the processes for changing these criteria. Lastly, the Data Subcommittee will be adding new members in April.
The ESG Subcommittee is reviewing requirements for subrecipients and working to align scopes of work and contract requirements across the different ESG funders. In addition, the ESG Subcommittee is reviewing upcoming contracts for Fiscal Year 2023.
The Lived Experience Subcommittee recently closed their application seeking new members. The Lived Experience Subcommittee will be reviewing applications and adding new members in March.
The Race Equity Leadership Group and subsequent workgroup discussed next steps in the Race Equity Plan and are developing a toolkit for providers to implement changes within their organization. The toolkit will work hand in hand with the Race Equity Provider toolkit looking at data.
