 Road to 250: Arizona Traveling Museum Friday, February 20, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM Main Library
Road to 250: Arizona Traveling Museum brings history to life as it travels to communities across Arizona in celebration of the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary.
Designed to spark enthusiasm and civic pride, this immersive exhibit connects national history with Arizona’s unique story. Visitors will explore defining moments in American history alongside the people, cultures, and communities that shaped Arizona through engaging exhibit panels, a short looping video experience, and hands-on interactive activities for all ages. Guests are also invited to add their voices by participating in the Dear America, Love Arizona postcard activity—sharing personal reflections and stories that connect the past to the present.
Enjoy a full day of fun with music, games, a scavenger hunt, crafts, and a storywalk—plus live music performances:
- 11 AM–1 PM: Enjoy folk music and old-time mountain tunes performed by Ice Machine
- 1–3 PM: Bluegrass Jam — bring your acoustic instrument and join in! Bluegrass, country, folk, gospel, and more, played round-robin style. All skill levels welcome; listeners and singers encouraged.
A meaningful, interactive experience for history lovers, families, and curious minds of all ages!

In celebration of the Lunar New Year, the Golden Phoenix Arts and Athletic Association presents a special Sar Ping Lion Dance show.
