Loop 303 southbound closed this weekend near Goodyear

Rubberized asphalt paving marks a milestone for traffic interchange project

 

As the Loop 303/Interstate 10 traffic interchange project reaches a major milestone, work requires the Loop 303 southbound to be closed this weekend to place rubberized asphalt.

 

Southbound Loop 303 between Camelback and McDowell roads, including Cotton Lane between McDowell and Thomas roads, and the Indian School Road southbound on-ramp will be closed from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 10 p.m. Sunday (April 13) for paving work. Detour: Use Citrus Road. Additionally, the Indian School Road southbound off-ramp and the Camelback Road southbound on-ramp will be closed from 11:30 p.m. Friday to 9 p.m. Monday (April 14).

 

During the month of April, portions of the Loop 303 north- and southbound between Northern Avenue and I-10 will be restricted for rubberized asphalt paving. This durable, long-lasting product will help reduce road noise along the corridor. The paving work signals milestones in the traffic interchange project as well as the segment of Loop 303 between Camelback Road and Glendale Avenue.
