No New Restrictions For Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) HOV-Lane Project This Holiday Weekend
To ease travel this holiday weekend, the Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) and all Valley freeways will be free of new construction-related closures or restrictions. ADOT reminds all motorists to obey posted speed limits and drive safely this Fourth of July weekend. Construction of the HOV-lane project on the Loop 202 will resume next week and work will impact the Loop 202 and the Loop 101 (Price Freeway) as noted:
- Southbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) closed between Warner Road and Loop 202 nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday evening (July 5) through Friday morning (July 8) for sign installation. Exit at Elliot or Warner roads and use southbound Price Road.
- Southbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) closed between Chandler Boulevard and Loop 202 from 10 p.m. Friday (July 8) to 1 p.m. Saturday (July 9) for sign installation. DETOUR: Exit at Elliot, Warner or Ray roads and use southbound Price Road.
- Westbound Loop 202 between Gilbert and Price Roads closed from 10 p.m. Friday (July 8) through 8 p.m. Sunday (July 10) as crews shift travel lanes to original configuration. DETOUR: Exit Lindsay or Gilbert Road and use westbound Chandler Boulevard. Traffic can re-enter westbound Loop 202 at Price Road. All westbound Loop 202 on-ramps between Lindsay and Alma School roads closed.
