East- and westbound I-10 ramps to southbound I-17 also closed Nov. 6-9

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following closures and restrictions for maintenance work:
- Southbound Interstate 17 will be CLOSED between Jefferson and Grant streets from 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, to 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9.

DETOUR: Drivers can exit ahead of the closure and travel southbound on the I-17 frontage road to re-enter southbound I-17 after the closure.
- The southbound I-17 on-ramp at McDowell Road also will be CLOSED.
- The east- and westbound I-10 ramps to southbound I-17 will be CLOSED from 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, to 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9.

DETOUR: Drivers may consider using alternate routes including 35th, 27th, 19th or 7th avenues to travel south to reconnect with I-17.
ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
