US 60 (Grand Avenue) restrictions planned between 75th and Northern avenues in Peoria Nov. 1-7 

Full closure planned for Grand Avenue between 24th Drive and 27th Avenue Nov. 6-9  

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers of the following nightly restrictions scheduled for work on the US 60 (Grand Avenue) from 85th Avenue to Interstate 17 pavement project. 

  • Eastbound Grand Avenue will be narrowed to one lane between 75th and Northern avenues nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Sunday, Nov. 1, and ending Saturday morning, Nov. 7.
  • Southbound Shadow Ridge will be CLOSED approaching 71st Avenue from 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3.
    • DETOUR: Local residents may use Butler Drive to access Grand Avenue. 
  • West- and eastbound Grand Avenue will be CLOSED between 24th Drive and 27th Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, to 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9. 
    • DETOUR: Drivers may consider using Encanto Boulevard or Thomas Road as alternate routes for east and west travel and 27th or 23rd avenues as alternate routes for north- and southbound travel.   
    • NOTE: Only one direction of Grand Avenue will be closed at a time.
