Drivers traveling on SR 347 should plan for lane restrictions Oct. 15-23

Drivers should plan for extra travel time through the project corridor during overnight and weekend work

ADOT advises drivers to be alert, follow the posted speed limit and merge safely when traveling through the State Route 347 Improvement Project corridor.

Weeknight Work 

  1. Thursday, Oct. 15: Northbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from the City of Maricopa to Casa Blanca Road from 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, to 4 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, for paving. 
  2. Sunday evening, Oct. 18: Northbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from the City of Maricopa to Casa Blanca Road from 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, to 4 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19, for paving.
  3. Sunday evening, Oct. 18: The following turn restrictions will be in place at the Casa Blanca Road intersection between 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, to 4 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19, for paving:
  • Northbound right turns from SR 347 onto Casa Blanca Road
  • Southbound left turns from SR 347 onto Casa Blanca Road
  • Westbound left turns from Casa Blanca Road onto SR 347
  1. Monday, Oct. 19: Northbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from the City of Maricopa to Casa Blanca Road from 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, to 4 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, for materials testing.
  2. Monday, Oct. 19: Southbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Casa Blanca Road to the City of Maricopa from 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, for materials testing. 
  3. Starting Tuesday, Oct. 20: Southbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Casa Blanca Road to the City of Maricopa nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Tuesday, Oct. 20, through Thursday, Oct. 22, for materials testing.

Weekend Work

  1. Friday, Oct. 16: Northbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from the City of Maricopa to Casa Blanca Road from 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, to 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17 for paving. 
  2. Saturday, Oct. 17: Northbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from the City of Maricopa to Casa Blanca Road from 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, to 8 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, for paving. 

The project schedule is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Project Lookahead

Overnight lane restrictions will be in place the weekend of Friday, Oct. 23. More detailed information will be provided as the construction schedule is finalized.
