Plan for alternating lane restrictions on SR 85 in Buckeye beginning Oct. 21

Drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for north- and southbound lane restrictions on State Route 85 in Buckeye for pavement maintenance work.  

The following lane restrictions are scheduled daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, through Friday, Oct. 30.

• North- and southbound SR 85 will be reduced to one lane at the intersection with Baseline Road (milepost 155).
• A 16-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place. 
• The speed limit will be reduced to 45 mph. 

Drivers should plan for delays, obey posted speed limits and traffic control devices and use caution around construction personnel.
