Plan for alternating east- and westbound lane restrictions on I-10 in Ehrenberg beginning Oct. 26

Drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists to plan ahead for the start of a construction project involving alternating lane restrictions, reduced speed limits and vehicle width restrictions on Interstate 10 in Ehrenberg.

Daytime lane restrictions are scheduled from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, through Thursday, Oct. 29, and from 6 a.m. to noon Friday, Oct. 30 and from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2.

  • East- and westbound I-10 will be reduced to one lane between the California/Arizona state line (milepost 0) and Dome Rock Road (milepost 12)
  • A 14 foot vehicle width restriction will be in place
  • The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction and law enforcement personnel and equipment.
