Expect daytime lane restrictions on westbound I-40 near Seligman Oct. 14-22 for paving work

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to prepare for upcoming daytime lane restrictions on westbound Interstate 40 near Seligman for paving work. The restrictions are scheduled from Wednesday, Oct. 14, to Thursday, Oct. 22.

Drivers should plan for the following weekday restrictions from 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.:

• Westbound I-40 will have single, alternating lane closures near Williamson Valley Road (mileposts 124-129).
• Vehicle width restriction is 16 feet.
• Lower speed limit in construction zone.

• No work is planned during the weekend.

Crews will apply an asphalt overlay to the pavement to improve the quality of the roadway.
