Plan for daily lane restrictions on east- and westbound I-10 between Vail and Benson through Oct. 15

Drivers should expect delays and allow for extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following lane restrictions on east- and westbound Interstate 10 at the Amole interchange (near Exit 292) in Pima County as part of the Amole Traffic Interchange and UPRR Bridge Rehabilitation Project.

  • Right lane closure on westbound I-10 from milepost 292 to milepost 293 through 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13.
  • Right lane closure on eastbound I-10 from milepost 292 to milepost 293 from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, and Thursday, Oct. 15.
  •  A 16-foot vehicle width restriction remains in place throughout the project corridor while the lane restrictions are active. The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph.

Marsh Station Road will be under a daily flagging operation from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 14 and Oct. 15 while the eastbound I-10 lane closures are in place.

ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
