Plan for daytime lane restrictions on eastbound I-10 in Tonopah Oct. 14-15

Drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for lane restrictions on eastbound Interstate 10 near Tonopah for guardrail repair.  

The following lane restrictions will occur from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14 and Thursday, Oct. 15: 

• Eastbound I-10 between milepost 89 to milepost 90 will be reduced to one lane. 
• An 18-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place. 
• The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph.

Delays are likely, so allow extra travel time. Proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
