Plan for overnight ramp closures on eastbound I-40 at Beale Street in Kingman June 11, June 16-18 for paving

Work is progressing on the 11-mile pavement preservation project in Kingman between Holy Moses Wash and Rattlesnake Wash scheduled for completion this summer.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists traveling on eastbound Interstate 40 through Kingman to prepare for the following overnight ramp restrictions: 

• Eastbound I-40 on-ramp at Beale Street (Exit 48) will be closed from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Thursday, June 11, and Tuesday, June 16. Drivers will be detoured to the Shinarump Drive exit (Exit 44). 
• Eastbound I-40 off-ramp at Beale Street (Exit 48) will be closed from 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, to 7 a.m. Thursday, June 18.  

ADOT reminds drivers to proceed through work zones with caution and watch for construction personnel and equipment while paving operations are underway.

The restrictions are necessary as work continues on the 11-mile pavement preservation project between Holy Moses Wash and Rattlesnake Wash (mileposts 47 to 58). The project is scheduled to be completed this summer.
