Westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) off-ramp at Arizona Avenue now open

The Arizona Department of Transportation has reopened the westbound Loop 202 off-ramp at Arizona Avenue following a weeks-long closure for reconstruction as part of the Santan Freeway widening project between Loop 101 and Val Vista Drive.

ADOT thanks drivers for their patience while this improvement work took place. 

Ongoing Loop 202 long-term ramp closures

• The eastbound Loop 202 on-ramp at McQueen Road —  anticipated to open early May
• The eastbound Loop 202 off-ramp at Cooper Road —  anticipated to open mid-May
• The westbound Loop 202 on-ramp at Cooper Road — anticipated to open early June
• The westbound Loop 202 off-ramp at McQueen Road — anticipated to open mid-June

Please help us promote highway safety. Speed limits are reduced to 55 mph in work zones for the safety of drivers and workers. Slow down, stay alert and be prepared to merge with caution when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
