Plan for lane restrictions on SR 95 in Lake Havasu City starting Tuesday, Feb. 17

Expect delays

SR 95 Lake Havasu City Center Raised Medians

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists traveling on State Route 95 in Lake Havasu City to expect continuous lane restrictions for approximately three weeks beginning Tuesday, Feb. 17 for median work.

The following 24-hour restrictions will be in place beginning at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, through 6 a.m. Thursday, March 5:

  • SR 95 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction between South Palo Verde Boulevard and Industrial Boulevard and from North Palo Verde Boulevard to Price Drive (mileposts 183 to 188).
  • A 14-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
  • The speed limit will be reduced in the work zone.

Business access will be maintained during construction.

The restrictions are needed to modify the raised center medians based on community input.

ADOT reminds drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution and watch for construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.
