US 60 pavement rehabilitation project in Globe breaks for winter months

US 60, Santee Street, McMillen Wash Bridge

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers that active work on the pavement rehabilitation project on US 60, between Santee Street and US 70 (mileposts 250-252), in Globe will go on break through the winter months.

The project, which began in late August 2025, has completed installation of ADA-compliant ramps, improved sidewalk, curbs and gutters throughout the project area, as well as repaired and paved the existing bridge decks.

Crews will return in spring 2026 when temperatures warm up to begin the main line paving and permanent pavement markings.
